The proposal is of general significance to the aims of the National Park, including the first aim of conserving and enhancing the natural and cultural heritage of the area, and is also of relevance in the context of the social and economic development of the area 16. 2011/0379/DET - Re-positioning of New Dwellinghouse and Alterations to External Finishes At Tomintoul Croft, Braemar The decision was to call-in the application for the following reason: The proposed development is for a new dwelling on an elevated site, adjacent to a cottage which although in a derelict condition is recognised as being of national significance to the cultural heritage of the area and has recently been ÔAÕ listed by Historic Scotland. The proposal is of general significance to the aims of the National Park, including the first aim of conserving and enhancing the natural and cultural heritage of the area, and is also of relevance in the context of the social and economic development of the area COMMENTING ON APPLICATIONS NOT CALLED-IN BY THE COMMITTEE 17. The planning officers noted Members comments and were delegated with the responsibility of whether or not to submit the comments to the Local Authorities. The following comments were passed on to the Local Authorities. 18. 2011/0368/LBC - Construction of 8 No. Buttresses At Bridge to the North West of Inverey House, Inverey, Braemar In terms of cultural heritage the CNPA would comment that any new stone should be carefully selected to match the existing bridge and that AberdeenshireÕs Natural and Built Heritage Team are consulted upon the application. 19. 2011/0370/DET - Extension to Dwellinghouse and Formation of Ancillary Accommodation At Auchallater, Braemar The ancillary accommodation proposed should remain as such and be conditioned if the application is approved.
